Mike Curran

Esperanza HS – Anaheim, CA

Mike Curran has coached at Esperanza High School in Anaheim, California for 33 years amassing an overall record of 689 wins and 294 losses. His teams have been to the CIF state finals 7 times, winning championships in 1986, 1993 and 1997. Coach Curran was named the National District 8 Coach of the Year in 1986, 1993 and 1998 and was inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame in December 2011. The MBCA is honored to have Coach Curran speak at the MBCA clinic and share his insights and know-how regarding “Stealing Runs” as well as how to incorporate “Offensive Drills to Spice Up Practice.”
