The MBCA is saddened by the passing of legendary and MBCA mainstay, Harvey Krupnick. Harvey amassed over 300 victories while at Holliston High School and was well-known for his love of hitting. He is credited with starting the country’s first ever batting school over 50 years ago and was always willing to help anyone (player or coach) with hitting mechanics.
Harvey Krupnick served as the MBCA president in 1980-1981 and was inducted into the MBCA Hall of Fame in 2007. He has forever been active with the MBCA and most recently was on the Annual Clinic Committee.
The MBCA will be forever grateful for his service to the MBCA and to the players and coaches in Massachusetts and worldwide. Harvey was a true innovator and friend to us all and will be dearly missed.
