This feature provides coaches the ability to connect with other coaches immediately by quickly looking up contact information. This is very helpful in scheduling games, scrimmages, and to connect or re-connect with coaches in and out of your league.

This feature includes access to MBCA meeting minutes as well as shared documents within the MBCA organization. It allows for access to any surveys, award nominations, player nominations for MBCA All-Star Games, and more.

Red Sox game pass

This feature allows an MBCA card-carrying member to purchase up to two Standing Room Only tickets for $10 each. Instructions with respect to which gate you need to go to will be on the card.

Lowell Spinners game pass

This feature allows an MBCA card-carrying member to one free ticket to any Spinners game. Simply show your Red Sox pass at the gate.

$1,000,000 insurance coverage for your work as a coach

The liability coverage includes camps, clinics, practices, and games. For more information, click here. If you have any questions, please contact Loomis & LaPann, Inc. at 800-566-6479

Players of MBCA membership coaches are eligible to participate in MBCA-sponsored All-Star Games including the MBCA Junior Select Game and the MBCA Senior All-Star Games

For MBCA Senior All-Star Games, typically only league MVPs are considered and league reps should contact Frank Carey. For MBCA Junior Select Games, contact Steve Freker if you would like to nominate a player from your team for the games. The MBCA Junior Select Game is reserved for the elite junior baseball players in MA.

Access to information about MBCA events as well as participation in all MBCA events

This feature includes updates on the MBCA Annual Clinic, HOF inductees, Victory Milestones, and other news/announcements.

Eligible to nominate your assistant coaches for Assistant Coach of the Year

MBCA members can nominate assistant coaches in their program who they feel are worthy of recognition. Application deadline for this award is October 1st.

Eligible to nominate youth coaches and supporters of your program for the Fred Ebbett Award

This award is given annually by the MBCA to recognize youth coaches and contributors who made significant contributions to their community.

Recognition for milestones in your coaching career -- Victory Club, eligibility for HOF, and season/team recognition

Victory Milestones should be reported to Joe Leone and awards are given at our Saturday Coaches’ Luncheon. HOF nominations should be sent to Wayne Hancock and the HOF Dinner is held Saturday night of the MBCA Annual Clinic. Sectional Champions, State Champions, MVPs, and Fred Ebbett Award winners are honored at the MBCA Awards Brunch held Sunday morning of the Annual Clinic weekend in January

College coaches have the ability to post clinic information on our website in our “Coaches Corner.”

HS and youth coaches receive the most updated development opportunities and are able to connect with area college coaches easily.

Eligible to vote at MBCA Annual Business meeting held in January as well as participate in membership surveys that solicit coaches’ feedback on important issues across the state

Our goal is to fully represent our membership and allow every voice to be heard. MBCA membership allows for coaches to become more involved in the decision-making process to better baseball in Massachusetts and New England.

Active Member ($40) – Individuals who are actively coaching baseball from grades seven through twelve in Massachusetts.  New England College coaches are eligible for active membership.

Allied Member ($40) – Individuals who are actively coaching baseball in youth leagues and other persons who are interested in baseball.  They may attend meetings but not vote or hold office.

Honorary Member (Invitation Only) – Individuals who have been an officer in the Association but are no longer actively coaching baseball or any individual who, because of his valuable contribution to the game of baseball, were nominated by the Executive Committee and elected by two-thirds vote of the Association present.  Non-Executive board Honorary members may attend meetings but not vote.
