Fred Ebbett Award

The Ebbett Award is named in honor of Fred Ebbett, one of the founding fathers of the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association. For over 30 years, Fred served in a variety of capacities on the MBCA’s Executive Board, most notable as President and  Secretary-Treasurer.

Fred has passed away, but his legacy of service lives on through this award. It is given every year to men and women who serve the youth of Massachusetts by making significant contributions to amateur and youth baseball in their communities.  The goal is to give up to four awards each year — one from each section of the State.

Please consider nominating someone who has made an impact in your community by reaching out to a board member or contacting Gerry Lambert at glambert@xbhs.com
