Paul Funk is well-known for his fundamental teaching style as well as his ability to condition his athletes. Serving as both the Varsity Baseball Coach and Varsity Football Coach, Coach Funk understands cross training and conditioning. Before taking the helm at Dennis-Yarmouth in football and baseball, Coach Funk was a Graduate Assistant Coach at University of New Mexico (1995), a Captain on the University of Connecticut Baseball Team (1993), a 4-year starting shortstop for the UConn Huskies (1990 – 1993), and was an Alaskan League All-Star Shortstop (1992)
