Chad Miller, a former collegiate athlete and coach, has built a career at the intersection of sports science, athlete development, and medical innovation. After playing in the 2000 NCAA Division II College World Series with Slippery Rock University, Miller went on to coach at Penn State University–Beaver and Marshall University, where he also earned his Master’s degree. He later transitioned into the medical device industry, holding leadership roles from sales rep to CEO, and in 2021 partnered with Wilson Sporting Goods to launch the Louisville Slugger Hitting Science Center—home to a proprietary bat-fitting algorithm and one of the premier medically integrated training centers in the U.S.
In 2022, Miller joined forces with SQAIRZ to lead the design of its Diamond Sports footwear line, now recognized as one of the most scientifically validated shoes in baseball and softball. That same year, he co-founded C.H.A.T. Baseball, a consulting firm that works with over 10,000 athletes, six MLB teams, and ten sports science companies to advance player development and product innovation. Chad Miller will be presenting on how to use analytics with your players and how to teach your hitters balance, timing, and direction.
