Steve Healy
BC High (MA)
Coach Healy was a 3-sport athlete at BC High who helped lead the Eagles to the Catholic Conference championship in 1981 under Hall of Fame coach Norm Walsh. After BC High, he attended John Carroll University where he helped lead the Blue Streaks to four consecutive President’s Athletic Conference titles. In his senior year at JCU he batted .348, was 6-1 on the mound, and earned league MVP Honors. Coach Healy is one of the more respected assistant coaches in New England as his ability to connect with players and teach the finer points of the game is unparalleled. In 11 years coaching pitchers at BC High, he has helped develop nine Division 1 college pitchers and was recently named National High School Baseball Assistant Coach of the Year by the ABCA. The MBCA is pleased to have Coach Healy speak about developing pitchers at our clinic this year.
